Ahead of the budget session of Parliament on Sunday, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said that the government is ready to discuss all issues in Parliament. Dr. Singh was talking to the media after attending the all party meeting convened by the Lok Sabha Speaker Mrs. Meira Kumar on the eve of Budget Session in New Delhi. Talking to the media, Meira Kumar said that the government and opposition are still seriously discussing the issue of constituting a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the 2G Issue. She said when the matter will come before her, an appropriate decision will be taken. The Speaker said Leaders of the all parties are keen to run parliament smoothly. Senior BJP leader and Deputy leader in the Lok Sabha Mr. Gopinath Munde said that if the government wants to run Parliament smoothly, they should concede the opposition's demand of a JPC on Tuesday.
