<span style="color: #222222;">Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the government provides financial assistance to meritorious students from the economically weaker sections of the notified minority communities under different schemes.<br />''<br />'' Mr Naqvi said his ministry implements three scholarship schemes for educational empowerment of students of &nbsp;Buddhists, Christians, Jains, Muslims, Parsis and Sikhs communities for pre matric, post matric, class eleventh to PhD.<br />''<br />'' The minister said his ministry also provides merit cum means based scholarship for technical and professional courses at under graduate and post graduate levels. He added &nbsp;in all these schemes 30 per cent scholarships are earmarked for girls.<br />''<br />'' Mr Naqvi said for students of minority communities pursuing full time M.Phil and PhD courses in universities and institutions in India they get financial aid under Maulana Azad national Fellowship &nbsp;(MANF).<br />''<br />''He said besides this under Padho Pardesh Scheme the Government bears interest subsidy for meritorious students of notified minority communities.</span><br />
