The Government on Monday said that there is a plan to indigenously develop Unamnned Aerial Vehciles, UAVs. The Defence Minister informed the Lok Sabha to a written reply that the Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO, will be taking up indigenous development of Unmanned Vehicles to meet the requirements of the three services. Named as RUSTOM-H, the project is proposed to be completed in six and a half years after the formal sanction. He said that Indian industry will be the partner in the production of the UAVs.<br/><br/> <br/>
