<span style="color: #222222;">Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has informed the Lok Sabha today that Government proposed to establish Five Sainik Schools in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha and Telangana. In a written reply to a question raised by members of the house, he informed that a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed with the State Governments. State Government is providing the land free of cost and construction budget. <br />''<br />''He also informed that there are 31 Sainik Schools and 05 Rashtriya Military Schools in the country. Sainik Schools have proven their utility by providing a large number of cadets joining the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy or through Technical Entry Schemes etc, he added.</span><br />
