Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Vijay Goel today said government is promoting Kabbadi, Football and other sports in the country apart from Cricket. Informing this in the Lok Sabha, Mr Goel said, Centre has planned to set up sports complex in every districts of the country. He said, centre is ready to provide 50 per cent grant for this purpose. Mr Goel informed that 119 sports persons are going to participate in Rio Olympic.The Sports Minister said, at present there are 49 National Sports Federations and government does not interfere in their day-to-day affairs. On the question of a wrestler failed in dope test, Mr Goel said, in a day or two, the final report will come. He also informed that at present five National Sports Academy are working and government has plan to set up more in near future.
