Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told Lok Sabha today that the Government is preparing a National Master Plan for Manufacturing Clusters.<br/><br/>As a first step, a Portal containing Geographic Information System or GIS is being developed. The plan focuses on convergence of industrial areas in the Central and State sectors for optimal use of resources under the Make in India initiative, the Minister said.
