<span style="color: #222222;">Government has prepared a draft of National e-commerce policy to create a facilitative regulatory environment for growth e-commerce sector in India.<br />'' <br />'' Replying to a question in the Lok Sabha, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said it will leverage access to data such that data of Indians can be used for the growth of digital economy in India.<br />'' <br />'' He said the consultations with concerned stakeholders is ongoing with an aim to finalise a policy which is holistic and takes into account concerns of all stakeholders of the growing digital ecosystem.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister said the government has also introduced National policy on Electronics and National policy on Software Products last year for the growing digital economy.<br />''<br />''The minister also informed the House that the Personal Data Protection Bill, currently under review with the Joint Parliamentary Committee seeks to establish a strong and robust data protection framework for the country.</span><br />
