Defence Ministry has prepared draft of Indian National Defence University Bill, 2015 and posted it on its website as well as on MyGov.in for suggestions and comments. <br/><br/>The last date of sharing inputs on the bill is 21st of this month. The bill proposes to establish a world class autonomous institution of national importance under Ministry of Defence.<br/><br/>The University will develop and propagate higher education including PhD, M Phil and M Tech in National Security Studies, Defence Management and Defence Technology.It will promote policy oriented research on all aspects relating to national security.<br/><br/>The University will inculcate and promote coordination and interaction not just between the three Armed Services but also between other government agencies.It will also offer opportunities for higher studies through distance learning to interested defence personnel.
