The Minister of State for Civil Aviation Gen. Dr. V K Singh today informed Rajya Sabha that the Government has prepared a draft National Air Sports Policy (NASP 2022) to promote air sports in the country.<br />''<br />''In a written reply, he said the government has received the feedback and is examining the comments on draft National Air Sports Policy. Mr Singh said some of the measures envisaged in the policy to make India a global hub for air sports. &nbsp;<br />''<br />''The policy will cover most of the air sports like aerobatics, aeromodelling, amateur-built and experimental aircraft, ballooning, drones, gliding, hang gliding and paragliding micro-lighting and para -motoring skydiving and vintage aircraft.<br />''<br />''The Minister said in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, domestic design, development and manufacturing of air sports equipment will be promoted.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''<br />
