Minister for Communication Manoj Sinha today said that the government has planned to achieve the target of clean India by the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2019. <br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi he said, Ministry of Drinking water and Sanitation has assigned the first fortnight to Ministry of Communications and Postal department for undertaking cleanliness campaign. He said over 7 lakh employees of postal service and Communications department have participated in this mission. <br/><br/>Officials from Communication, Postal, BSNL & MTNL also took active participation in Swachhta Abhiyaan. He said, Private telecom operators are also making people aware of Cleanliness through various modes of communication. He further said that the Ministry is working positively to make Prime Minister's vision a reality.
