Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaran has said that the Government is planning to link centre sponsored schemes with direct cash transfer scheme.Talking with media persons at Alwar in Rajasthan Mr Chidambaram expressed satisfaction on the pilot project of Kotkasim in Alwar district and said that anomalies of this project will be rectified before launching direct cash subsidy scheme in the country. He asked bankers also to help beneficiaries of these schemes in opening of their bank accounts.Mr. Chidambaram said that direct cash subsidy will be provided on the basis of Aadhar card. He said that scholarships, social pensions and payment of child and women welfare schemes would be linked with direct cash subsidy scheme. The Finance Minister reviewed the implementation of pilot project of Kerosene distribution in Kotkasim Panchayat Samiti of Alwar district. This pilot project was started few months back.
