Govt. planning to allow limited export of wheat: MoS for Agriculture

Government is planning to allow limited export of wheat. This was revealed by the Minister of State for Agriculture Mr. Arun Yadav while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi. He said government expects a bumper wheat crop and first priority will be given to meet the local requirement. The Minister asserted there is enough capacity for storing the crop. He said area under cotton production is likely to increase this year. Earlier, he inaugurated a conference of North Zone Cooperatives and stressed the need for effective management of these institutions which are vital importance for improving the rural economy.
