The government is planning several measures including moving to Supreme Court on the issue of high cut off rates for admission in Delhi University. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal today said he will sit with the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University on the issue of high cut-offs. He said the existing education system is working against policy of access to education. Sibal was concerned that it will be difficult to get backward candidates for the seats if the cut-off is above 90 per cent.
