The Centre has said it has ordered a probe into the source of funding and other aspects of the three-month long stir against the nuclear power plant at Kudankulam. Addressing a press conference at Tirunelveli yesterday, the Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Mr. V. Narayanaswamy has said that the government has started investigation to unmask the foreign agencies actually funding the ongoing agitation against the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project. He also said a group of people is misguiding the people of Kudankulam, particularly the fishermen with the false propaganda against the project. Mr Narayanaswamy said, nuclear reactor's safety has been ensured by installing futuristic state of the art safety features.
