Government is not in a mood to pay heed to the opposition demand for setting up of Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe the alleged leakage of decision on demonetization of high value currency. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters outside Parliament today, Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu said the opposition parties want to postpone the issue for one or two years by making such a demand. <br/><br/>He said, the government has taken the decision in the larger interest of the country. He wanted to know whether Congress and other opposition parties are in support of it or against. <br/><br/>Mr. Naidu asserted that the government is ready for discussion as it has nothing to hide. The Minister added that the opposition has every right to make such a demand but it is up to the chair. <br/><br/>Yesterday, during the debate on demonetization issue in the Rajya Sabha Left, JD(U), BSP and others have pressed for setting up of JPC.
