Govt nod for 50% reduction in reserve price of CDMA spectrum for auction

The Union Cabinet has approved a 50 per cent reduction in the reserve price of CDMA spectrum to be put for auction in March this year. According to highly placed official sources the Cabinet gave its seal of approval to the recommendation of the EGoM on spectrum, which had recommended a 30 to 50 reduction on the base price.
