The government today clarified that no meeting was held yesterday between Finance Minister P. Chidambaram and Petroleum Minister M. Veerappa Moily on subsidy for LPG cylinders. The Finance Ministry's statement came in the wake of media reports that said both the Ministers had met yesterday and discussed the issue of raising the cap of six cylinders per household in a year.
