Government says it is looking at ways to curb predatory airfares. Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State (IC), Ministry of Tourism, said this while speaking at the Tourism Investors Meet (TIM) in New Delhi today. Interestingly on July 21, Dr. Sharma had informed Rajya Sabha that the government was not considering formulation of a mechanism to curb predatory pricing of air tickets. <br/><br/>Dr. Sharma, said that highest priority should be accorded to improving India's perception abroad. Responding to the issue of opening the Indian sky, Minister for Civil Aviation Mr. Gajapathi Raju said that the country's sky had been opened up for SAARC nations. <br/><br/>Tourism Investors Meet was organized by FICCI, with 12 Indian states showcasing their tourism products with more than 300 B2G meetings.
