The government today moved a resolution for setting up of a joint parliamentary committee to go into the allegation of 2G spectrum allocation from 1998 to 2009. Moving the resolution in the Lok Sabha, the leader of the House, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee said, 20 members would be from the Lok Sabha and 10 from the Upper House. Mr. Mukherjee informed that the Chairman of the Committee will be nominated by the Speaker and the report is expected to be submitted by the end of next session of Parliament. He also announced the names of the members of the Lok Sabha who will be part of the committee.Earlier, the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh formally announced the formation of the committee on Tuesday.
