The Government has rubbished the report published in a major newspaper which said that two units of strategic armed forces moved to Delhi in the month of January with some ill motives.

Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of a function in Vishakhapattnam today the Defence Minister, Mr. A.K.Antony warned anyone doubting patriotism, honesty and integrity of armed forces.

Calling the media reports absolutely baseless Mr. Antony said that the movement of the forces on the said day was a usual and natural activity.

The Defence Minister asserted that he was proud of Indian forces and they will not do anything to undermine the patriotism.

Mr. Antorny said that the armed forces cannot avail the luxury of controversies. He emphatically reiterated that there is no communication gap between Defence Ministry and armed forces . Mr. Antony said that he enjoyed the cordial and faithful relationship with the Service Chiefs.
