Government has indicated that it will convene an all-party meeting to discuss the ways to break logjam in Parliament over Lalit Modi controversy and Vayapam scam. Talking to reporters after an all party meeting convened by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan in New Delhi, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said Home Minister Rajnath Singh hinted that Centre will try to call a meeting to resolve the issue.<br/><br/>Mr. Kharge said it is government's responsibility to run the house, but it has not made any efforts in this regard so far. He clarified that opposition's demand for the resignation of BJP leaders remains unchanged. Mr. Kharge said the opposition is following the precedence of the BJP which it had set as an opposition party. He said the senior BJP leaders used to say that disrupting the proceedings is also part of democratic process to raise the issues.<br/><br/>During yesterday's all party meeting, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan raised the issue of disruption of the house and the way members are coming to the well holding placards. She said such acts are not as per established behavioral standards and urged the party leaders to think over it.<br/><br/>Referring to Congress allegation that opposition protest is not being shown by the Lok Sabha TV, Ms. Mahajan clarified that she has not given any direction in this regard. She, however, mentioned an order issued in 2010 which said that in case of disruption in the house, the camera will focus on the Chair.
