The government today said the market share of speed postal services is increasing every year and the postal system is all set to compete with the private sector as it has a broad and well-established network. Inaugurating the 2nd all women employees post office at the Delhi University, Communications and IT Minister Kapil Sibal said all post offices across the country will be electronically connected in the next one and a half years. He said this will help generate more revenue for the government. Mr Sibal said women post offices will effectively strengthen the role of women in the society by showcasing excellent service levels to the customers.
