Union Minister for Human resource development Prakash Javadekar has said that the government is making efforts to provide all facilities which are available in foreign countries to brilliant students. Addressing the convocation of a private university located in Jaipur today, Mr. Javadekar said that in foreign countries students get best lab, good scholarship and best guidance. <br/><br/>The government is going to start Prime Minister's scholarship soon. Under this, a thousand innovative students will be provided 75 thousand rupees per month. Soon the proposal will be sent for approval of the cabinet. Shri Javadekar said that the government is working with priority to develop 20 world-class universities in the country. Shri Javdekar said that Rs. 20 thousand crores will be spent on the development of research and infrastructure in Higher Education Institutions through Higher Education Finance Agency.
