Government is making continuous efforts to locate a Kerala priest, Father Tom, who was reportedly abducted in Yemen. Responding to a Zero Hour mention in the Lok Sabha today, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said, the government is in touch with countries which can assist in locating him. <br/><br/>She said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held discussions on the issue during his foreign visits. The Minister said the government is making similar efforts for Father Tom as it had done in the case of Father Alexis, who was brought back from Afghanistan. Ms. Swaraj also said the Centre is verifying the video footage of Father Tom which just came in public domain.
