Govt making all efforts to encourage Sanskrit education

The Government is making all efforts to encourage Sanskrit education so as to create more employment opportunities. Giving this information in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today, the Human Resource Development Minister, Mr. Kapil Sibal said the Sanskrit graduates are eligible for employment in different schools and educational institutions besides being eligible for pursuing higher studies and research. He said 1,373 teachers are employed in the three Deemed Universities-Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth and Rashtriya Sanskrit Sanstan, both in Delhi Rashtriya Sanksrit Vidyapeeth at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.<br/>
