The government has not made any changes in the RTI Act. Replying to Congress' allegation of diluting the RTI rules, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, Dr Jitendra Singh today said rules and regulations have been brought out by the then Congress government. <br/><br/>He said, Congress has put its foot in its mouth by criticizing its own RTI Act in a haste to criticize Central government.<br/><br/>Yesterday, the Minister had said in a tweet that the government is committed to easy access to information by citizens.
