Govt looking into issue of migration of Hindus from Pak to India:MoS Home

Minister of State for Home R P N Singh today said the government is looking into the issue of migration of Hindus from Pakistan to India. The statement comes in the wake of media reports pointing to alleged persecution of the minority community in the neighbouring country.
Responding to a media query on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's criticism of the Congress, Mr Singh said it is not a big deal if non-Congress Chief Ministers criticise the party.
The minister was speaking on the sidelines of the Valour Day function of the CRPF in New Delhi today.On the ocassion, 56 personnel of the paramilitary force, were honoured with gallantry awards, including five officers posthumously in recognition of their courage and devotion to duty.
Our correspondent adds that Valour Day is celebrated to commemorate the 1965-incident, when two companies of CRPF's 2nd Battalion drove back 3,500-men strong Pakistani Brigade at Sardar Post in Gujarat. At least 34 Pakistani soliders were killed in the incident and four others captured. Six CRPF jawans were also martyred.
