Govt looking at status of Chinese companies working in India

The government is looking at the status of Chinese companies that have a presence in India and are also undertaking projects in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.Government sources said that no decision has been taken at the continuance of such companies in future in India. The sources said that India has always objected to Chinese companies undertaking projects in Pakistan occupied Kashmir – which it says is contrary to China's stated official position of neutrality on the Kashmir issue.Sources said that United States is in touch with India after the startling disclosures by WikiLeaks. US Under Secretary of State Nicholas Burns and its Ambassador in India Timothy Roemer have spoken to the the Indian foreign office after the Leaks. Sources said that the disclosures are being read by the government with a degree of alertness to know what is happening. The latest disclosure by WikiLeaks suggests that United States might have tried to not just suppress information related to involvement of Pakistani agencies in Mumbai terror attacks but also defended its intelligence agency ISI.
