The government is likely to earn up to 45,000 crore rupees from the auction of 3G and broadband spectrum. Telecom Minister A Raja told this to reporters on the sidelines of a telecom event in New Delhi. The amount is much higher than the earlier target of up to 35,000 crore rupees.
