Government on Tuesday lifted the ban on Onion exports. The decision was taken by the empowered Group of Ministers in a meeting in New Delhi. Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar was also present in the meeting. AIR correspondent reports that government had imposed a ban on the onion export after the prices had touched 25 rupees per Kilogram.
