Communication and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today launched several new initiatives of BSNL in New Delhi . <br/><br/>It include Wi-Fi hotspot at Vaishno Devi. Addressing media Mr. Prasad said it is BSNL's 1,000th hotspot in the country. He said BSNL plans to set up 2,500 wi-fi hotspots in 250 locations at a cost of 500 crore rupees in the country. <br/><br/>Telecom Minister said as part of the Digital India programme, the government is working towards enabling all cities, with a population of over one million, tourist centers and religious places with wi-fi hotspots.
