Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi today launched an online marketing platform Mahila E-HAAT to facilitate women entrepreneurs to sell their products to buyers. The initiative has been started jointly by the Ministry and Rashtriya Mahila Kosh for meeting the needs of women entrepreneurs. Speaking on the occasion in New Delhi, Mrs Gandhi said, the objective of the facility is to bring buyers and sellers at one platform. <br/><br/>She said, women can sell their products like cloths, bags, jewelries through this web portal. AIR correspondent reports that the objective of the E-HAAT is to strengthen the financial inclusion of such entrepreneurs by providing continued support to their creativity.It also aims at supporting Make In India porgramme through a digitally marketing platform.
