Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry today launched nationwide LPG emergency helpline number 1906 for leakage complaints. <br/><br/>It will work round-the-clock and it is common for all the three LPG marketing company. The helpline was launched by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion Mr. Pradhan said that the helpline will enhance safety and security of the people by plugging the leakage in a time-bound manner. <br/><br/>Mr Pradhan also declared 2016 as the Year of LPG Consumers and said the clean cooking fuel will be available to all households by end of 2018. He said, his Ministry will work to increase accessibility and availability of the cooking gas in the country.
