Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today launched a toll free helpline for the consumers to be covered under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The helpline number is 1800 266 66 96 . <br/><br/>People can call on this number to get solution of their problems related to the scheme. On the occasion of completion of two years of NDA government, Mr Pradhan also launched a dedicated website for Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana at a function in New Delhi. He said, the scheme was launched on 1st of May and so far around 85 thousand consumers have been covered under it.Mr Pradhan said, to make the scheme more transparent a toll free number has been launched.<br/><br/>Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the government has set a target of providing LPG connection to the five crore women of BPL households with a support of 1600 rupees per connections in three years.

Mr Pradhan said, this year 1.5 crore connection will be given to the BPL families for which Rs 2000 crore have been allocated.
