<span style="color: #222222;">Government is keeping a close watch on the developments in the US which may impact the movement of skilled Indian professionals to the US. In a written reply in Lok Sabha, Minister of State for External Affairs, Gen VK Singh said India has engaged with the US administration and the US Congress at all levels on this matter. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He informed that New Delhi has emphasised that Indian professionals have contributed to the growth of the US economy and have helped the US retain its competitive edge. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, according to US statistics, the number of H-1B visas issued to Indian nationals increased in 2017 as compared to 2016. </span><br />'' <br />
