Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said government is taking all steps to keep the Public Sector Banks, PSBs in good health. <br/><br/>Addressing the press conference in New Delhi on banking reforms, Mr Jaitley said, the government has decided to infuse 2.12 lakh crore rupees in PSBs for their recapitalisation. <br/><br/>He said, Department of Financial Services is undertaking an exercise as to how much capital is to be infused in banks in this direction. <br/><br/>He said, the NDA government inherited the NPA problem of banks form the previous government and it wants to build an institutional mechanism to ensure that such problems do not occur in future.<br/> <br/>Later giving presentation on the roadmap for banking reforms, Secretary Department of Financial Services, Rajeev Kumar said,repositioning PSBs will lead the growth and serve people responsibly and responsively. He said, every deposits of the people in banks are safe as banks are the article of faith.
