Health Minister J P Nadda has said that the government is in touch with the representatives of agitating doctors. He said the National Medical Commission Bill, 2017, introduced in the Lok Sabha last week, is beneficial for the medical professionals and the country. <br/><br/>Mr Nadda was responding to a query by Naresh Agrawal of the Samajwadi Party. Mr Agrawal raised the issue in the Rajya Sabha today and wanted the government's intervention. The bill provides for a medical education system that ensures availability of adequate and high quality medical professionals. <br/><br/>It also aimed at encouraging medical professionals to adopt latest medical research in their work and contributing to research. <br/><br/>
