Govt is focusing on changing the country with low-cost technology: Ravi Shankar Prasad

Minister for Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that those who are part of digital India should be digitally skilled to meet the challenges and technological changes in the digital world. Addressing an event in New Delhi, Mr Prasad said digital India programme is helping change India so that no one has to stay away from the digital world. <br />''<br />''Mr Prasad said innovation should be part of the people who are associated with digital India programme. The Minister said the government is focusing on changing the country with low-cost technology being developed by the NIC. <br />''<br />''Mr Prasad India is working towards becoming a centre of data analytics. He emphasized that Digital India is beyond Video conferencing use in Districts as the Digital appetite is growing and the District Informatics Officer needs to work as part of a larger team and become a digital educator for the district. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He suggested that District Informatics Officer should work in three fields on how can agriculture grow, How can improve primary education and How to improve and strengthen healthcare. </span><br />
