Government intends to integrate technology into the education system in the country to empower the teachers and the students and to link learning to thirst for knowledge and the desire to conquer.Speaking at a function to felicitate schools, teachers and students of the Kendiriya Vidiyalaya Sangathan and the Navodaya Vidiyalaya Samiti in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Union Minister for Human Resource Development Mr. Kapil Sibal, said that technology can empower the education system to access and learn through innovative and analytical manner. He said this will make the children better equipped to challenge the recorded knowledge.AIR correspondent, the nation is at the threshold of the next revolution in the field of knowledge access by integrating the modern technology like, broad bond Internet which provides the young students to be aware of what is happening out side the class room. Mr Sibal's assertion in this regard enthuses the students, teachers and the parents equally who all are looking to the so indicated revolution as it comes their way as they all hope to have an environment where children would do what they actually want to do and their curriculum is based on acquiring knowledge through analysis and innovation rather than following the traditional system of memory based learning.Replying to a question the Minister said that, this revolution like any other will have to take all the factors and stake holders in to confidence before this actually gets realised.
