The government has initiated the process of formulating a new education policy. Consultations have been held at various levels in the last one year. Altogether 33 themes were covered. Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said this in the Rajya Sabha today. He said, his ministry has written to the concerned central departments and State Governments inviting their suggestions on the document by the 31st of this month.
