Government today indicated, it is in favour of extending the sitting of Rajya Sabha by two days. This is being done to pass several bills in the House. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, the government is in consultation with opposition leaders.<br/><br/>Earlier leader of opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad said, contrary to earlier occasions, the opposition has asked for extension of the sitting to complete the legislative business, but government seems to be reluctant.
