<span style="color: #222222;">On the occasion of Women's Day, a multimedia exhibition on the theme of 'Women Empowerment' was inaugurated on Wednesday by Monideepa Mukherjee, Director General, West Zone, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India and Ranjana Dev Sarmah, Additional Director General, Central Bureau of Communication New Delhi at Kolhapur.<br />'' <br />'' The exhibition is jointly organised by the Central Bureau of Communication, Kolhapur Municipal Corporation together and Zilla Parishad Kolhapur.<br />'' <br />'' Ms. Mukherjee said that Kolhapur, the city of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, is an ideal place to arrange an exhibition for women's empowerment.<br />'' <br />''The exhibition will be open to the public for five days between 8 and 12 March from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at Rankala Lake Garden opposite Shalini Palace at Kolhapur. The exhibition aims to provide inspiration to viewers by showcasing information on successful Indian women from across fields, such as freedom fighters, scientists, and entrepreneurs. Various components of the exhibition also give information on government schemes for the welfare of women. The exhibition also showcases multimedia components featuring experiences like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Digital Quizzes.</span><br />
