<span style="color: #222222;">The government has taken several steps since August 2019 to fill up all the vacant posts in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Home, Nityanand Rai said government has conducted a recruitment drive in a transparent manner. The minister informed the House that an Accelerated Recruitment Committee was constituted for identifying Gazetted, Non-Gazetted, and Class IV posts. He said 26 thousand 330 posts have been identified in various departments in Jammu and Kashmir and taken up for recruitment. The Minister said selection process has been completed till now for 11 thousand 324 Gazetted, Non-Gazetted, and Class IV posts.<br />''<br />''The minister said the &nbsp;Ladakh administration has also taken various measures for filling up vacant posts. He said 613 district cadre posts have been filled and 293 vacant posts in Ladakh Police have been advertised.
