The Union government has taken a number of steps for amelioration of all segments of the society. This was stated by the Union Textiles Minister Santosh Gangwar in the Vikas Utsav held in Bargarh in Odisha on Friday. The rally was also addressed by the Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Niranjan Jyoti.<br/><br/>However, the minister duo had to face stiff opposition from the ruling BJD activists who protested their entry into the district. Reports of stone pelting at the vehicles of the visiting ministers have also come in. Reacting to this the Mr Gangwar hit out at the State Government saying if the government cannot provide security to the union ministers then the security of the people of the state raises question.
