Govt has taken multiple steps to boost startup ecosystem in country: PM Modi

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, the government has taken multiple steps such as Startup India and regulatory reforms to boost the startup ecosystem in the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In an interview to a news website, Mr Modi said, if India is the second-largest startup ecosystem, it is because of the people of the country especially the youth, whose energy and innovation are putting it on the top of the world map. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister said, the government has streamlined regulatory mechanisms, amended the definition of startups, enhanced tax exemptions and reduced tax rates enabling faster exits for promotion of startups.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi also said, New India is about aspirations and opportunities and rule-based governance model rather than a discretion-based one. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, one can see a glimpse of this in several areas of NDA government's working ranging from achieving the target of rural electrification to rural roads construction.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi also lauded the youth, saying youngsters from India are doing wonderful things both in India and internationally. He said he dreams of a young India that is not constrained by any limitations whatsoever. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister said, he wants the youth of the country to lead a life filled with hope and opportunity and the government is doing everything possible to give them that platform where they can excel. </span><br />'' <br />''
