Govt has taken all necessary steps to prevent & combat dengue: J P Nadda

Union Health Minister JP Nadda held a meeting in New Delhi today on the preparedness of vector borne diseases – Dengue and Chikungunya. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters after the meeting, Mr Nadda said, government has taken all necessary steps to prevent and combat dengue in the monsoon season. He said, the Ministry has already issued advisories to the State Governments for the prevention and control of the diseases. <br/><br/>The Minister said, all technical and financial assistance will be provided to states to combat dengue. He said, ample testing kits are available and training in this regard has been imparted Around 18,000 dengue cases have been reported, so far this year, from across the country.<br/><br/>
