<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar on Monday said that his Ministry has spent 36,164 crore rupees since 2014-15 for educational upliftment of Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Denotified and Nomadic Tribes.<br />''<br />'' Briefing media in New Delhi today, Dr Kumar said, 11 crore students have been benefited from it. He said, the Ministry is implementing schemes for social upliftment of Scheduled Castes, Senior Citizens, Victims of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Transgender Persons and Beggers and has spent 10 thousand 304 crore rupees in last eight years in it. The Minister said, over 42 lakh people have been benefited from the schemes. He said, Ministry has been implementing various skill development and loaning schemes through its corporations to make marginalized sections of the society economically empowered and Aatmanirbhar. Dr Kumar said, over 20 lakh people from the marginalized sections have been benefitted from the schemes and eight thousand 286 crores have been spent on it since financial year 2014-15. He said, through various schemes and programmes Ministry will always strive to build an inclusive society wherein adequate support is provided to members of target groups for their development and make them economically and socially self-reliant.&nbsp;</span><br />
