<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Textiles Darshana Jardosh has said the Ministry has received representations from the state government in Tamil Nadu and a few industrial associations on the yarn price rise. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha on Friday, she said, the primary reason for the price rise is the hike in the prices of raw cotton in the domestic and the international markets. She said, the Ministry is constantly engaged with various stakeholders across the entire value chain including those in Tamil Nadu.</span>
