Government today said it has been successful in plugging 90 percent leakages in food distribution system in the country. In an exclusive interview to All India Radio, Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said the Centre is taking several measures to bring transparency in public distribution system. <br/><br/>He said 100 percent digitization of ration cards have been achieved across the country and online food allotment system has also been extended from nine states to 24. <br/><br/>Mr. Paswan said there is no food shortage in the country. The Minister also said over five thousand employment jobs have been generated by his Ministry.
