Government has constituted task force for preparing action plan for next three Olympic games in 2020, 2024 and 2028. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today approved the constitution of the eight members task force which includes Olympics medalist Abhinav Bindra and Olympian and Badminton Coach P Gopichand. <br/><br/>The committee has been given three months time to submit its report regarding a comprehensive action plan including short, medium and long-term measures for effective participation of Indian sports-persons in the Olympic games. <br/><br/>The committee will also suggest effective methods to identify core probable and medal prospects for 2020 Olympics, their coaches and support staff and effective talent identification system. It will also suggest ways to improve the standards of coaching and sports scientist within the country and to upgrade sports infrastructure.
